Authorities say rescue under way for 200 asylum seekers in capsized boat in Indonesian waters

CANBERRA, Australia - Australian authorities say Australian and Indonesian crews have launched a rescue for up to 200 asylum seekers aboard a boat that capsized in Indonesian waters.
Australian Customs Service said in a statement "up to 200 people could be on board" the boat, which capsized on Thursday about 200 kilometres (120 miles) north of the Australian Indian Ocean territory of Christmas Island.
