TORONTO - A Toronto art fundraiser is offering support to those in need following the massacre at an Orlando nightclub.
More than 100 artists pledged to contribute work after a call for donations was sent out by Toronto artist Mark Jeremy Gleberzon on Facebook.
Waddington's Auctioneers and Appraisers is playing host to the pop-up contemporary art auction Small Art/Big Hearts.
The more than 100 works to be sold include paintings, photography, prints and jewellery.
Items will be on public display Thursday and Friday at Waddington's downtown Toronto gallery, and the works will be offered in a special online auction from Friday until June 28.
Organizers say 100 per cent of proceeds will be donated towards selected Orlando and Toronto-based LGBTQ organizations.
