Arrest warrant issued for man wanted for Kelowna assault

A man wanted for assault and mischief in connection to a Kelowna crime is the subject of a provincewide warrant for his arrest.

Darius Konefall-Townsend, 27, is wanted in regards to an incident that happened in Kelowna in 2023, but police believe he could be living and working in Nanaimo, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Jan. 5.

RCMP haven't released any details about the crime committed in Kelowna.

RCMP describe Konefall-Townsend as a Caucasian male, 5’11” tall and 150 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. He's associated with a white pickup truck with ladders on the roof and a BC license plate VL1967. 

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Konefall-Townsend call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
