A 43-year-old Revelstoke man has a date with a judge following his arrest in connection to a pellet gun shooting in a home in Sicamous last month.
RCMP say a 24-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Revelstoke, were shot several times with a pellet gun in a home in the 400 block of Main Street in Sicamous early in the morning on July 28.
They were taken to hospital, treated for their injuries and released, according to an RCMP media release.
On Sunday, Aug. 8, RCMP in Revelstoke arrested a local 43-year-old man who was charged with aggravated assault. He was released from custody and is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Sept. 14 in Salmon Arm.
Police say both victims were known to the suspect.
"The Sicamous RCMP continue to investigate the matter with the assistance of the Revelstoke, Salmon Arm and South East District RCMP,” Sgt. Murray McNeil said in the release.
