KELOWNA - Ready for a retail road trip?
Aritzia announced the dates to its annual warehouse sale at the Vancouver Convention Centre and as so many prove every year, they’re fit for a shopping pilgrimage.
The sale will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28 to Monday, Sept. 2. The sale will run from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. between Wednesday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
It also offers a prelude to a much bigger local event.
A trail of classified ads indicates the popular B.C. retailer Aritzia is on its way to Kelowna’s Orchard Park Mall. It will be the first Aritzia in the Interior if it pans out.
Ads listed in the spring offered job opportunities for everything from store managers to stylists, though calls to Orchard Park to confirm the new tenant were never returned.
Brian Hill opened the first stand-alone boutique in Vancouver in 1984. They develop their own brands, treating each as an independent label with its own creative team and aesthetic.
As of March 3, the Company operated 67 boutiques in Canada and 25 boutiques in the United States. Aritzia has strategically positioned itself in between fast-fashion like H&M and Affordable Luxury, like Guess, allowing for consistent pricing, marketing and product presentation.
