LAKE COUNTRY – Three homes still under construction in Lake Country were hit by thieves this week, and thousands of dollars of appliances stolen.

Early in the morning on Friday, May 6, thieves entered two unfinished homes on Heritage Court in Lake Country through their basement windows, according to a Crime Stoppers media release.

A fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and washer and dryer set were stolen from one of the homes.

That same morning a second home was targeted and a stainless steel Whirlpool dishwasher, range, convection oven and fridge were taken.

Sometime between May 5 and 6 a nearby home, also in the final stage of construction, was entered and a Dewalt mixer drill, wet saw, wet dry grinder, screw gun, impact drill and tile snap cutter were taken.
