Alleyway assault leads to arrest in Kamloops

Police were called to the 90-block of Seymour Street on Oct. 23 where a man and women were physically fighting.

A man was arrested after physically fighting with a woman in an alleyway in downtown Kamloops last week.

Police were called to the 90-block of Seymour Street around 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 23.

Five to six people were in an alleyway and a man and woman were physically fighting, according to a media release by the RCMP. Police found a woman with injuries.

A man was arrested as part of the investigation and was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Anyone who witnessed, has video, or information related to this incident is being asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-38079.
