School busses will stay parked today in the Kamloops area.
School District 73 school busses won't pick up students today because of snowy and unsafe road conditions, according to a news release.
The Kamloops-Thompson school district also sent messages to all staff and families by email and phone this morning, then sent a notice to media this morning, around 6:30 a.m., Nov. 7.

Snow is expected to continue across the Thompson-Okanagan today, with up to 10 cm expected on some mountain passes.
A Pacific low pressure system is also bringing wind, with fusts up to 60 km/h in the Kamloops area this afternoon, according to Environment Canada.
