KELOWNA – After months of flooding across the Central Okanagan, the final five evacuation orders have been lifted.

The Emergency Operations Centre says Killiney Beach area residents at four addresses on Hodges Road and one on Kilkenny Place can finally return to their properties.

“No flood related Evacuation Orders remain in effect in the Central Okanagan at this time,” officials say.

The District of Lake Country park crews have also cleaned up flood damage and removed related protection measures at Pioneer Park and the greenspace on Kalamalka Lake in Oyama is now open to the public.
