After much negotiation, Central Okanagan Public Schools has signed a three-year agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
"Although the negotiations were challenging, the Board of Education recognizes the valuable contributions that our CUPE staff makes every day," Moyra Baxter, board chairperson, said of the agreement reached Saturday, Nov. 30.
"Thanks to the many dedicated CUPE employees, our students become lifelong learners in safe, inspirational learning spaces."
