On Monday, Feb. 9, make some memories by spending time together as a family. The City of Kelowna’s Active Living and Culture division is holding two free events at two locations.
The Parkinson Recreation Centre is offering a variety of activities to keep the whole family entertained. Enjoy swimming or an inflatable bounce house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For the younger children, there are games in the tot play room.
There are also family skating and sportfield activities at the Capital News Centre from 1 to 4 p.m. The indoor soccer fields will host a mini Park & Play and family soccer games. The ice rink will feature sledge hockey demos, speed skating and figure skating. Skate rentals are available and skaters are encouraged to wear a helmet.
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Kelowna Community Food Bank.
