Red roses and heart-shaped chocolate boxes are lining the grocery store shelves, which can only mean one thing.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and whether you are spending it alone or in company of others, these events and services will keep you busy and entertained on Cupid’s busiest day of the year.
Kelowna
House of Berries
For those looking for a sweet delivery, a small business in West Kelowna can fulfil your fruity, chocolatey dreams.
House of Berries makes hand-crafted, customized chocolate-dipped strawberries and pineapple pieces and their smash hearts are sure to be a smash hit this Valentine’s Day.
Bread and Butter Blooms at Bright Jenny Coffee
Local florist Bread and Butter Bloom will be parking up a flower truck at Bright Jenny Coffee on Laurel Avenue in Kelowna for a build-your-own flower bouquet event.
Coffee and other sweet treats will be provided by Bright Jenny while singles, couples and friends put in their custom design orders from the flower bar.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Kelowna-based flower company, Bread and Butter Blooms, will be parking up at Bright Jenny Coffee to deliver Valentine's flowers.

Kamloops
Singing Valentine’s
Kamloops' Slow No Tempo acapella quartet will be going door to door to deliver a unique Valentine’s Day service.
Four suited gentlemen will head to loved ones' houses to perform a love song and hand the lucky recipient a flower.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to a local Kamloops charity, A Way Home, which helps youth find housing.
St. Mingles Day
Sun Peaks Ski Resort will be hosting a special event this Valentine’s Day event for all the single skiers and snowboarders in the area.
Valentine hopefuls can hop on a chair lift with a stranger and get to know one another as they head up the mountain.
If all goes well, participants will get the option to ride another lap or hop off and find a new match.
The event will be open to all age groups and participants will get to mingle with other singles their age.
The event will take place on Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Vernon
Valentines Prom
Woolley & Co and the Vernon Public Art Gallery are partnering to bring a prom night to the gallery.
Bring your partner, friends or just yourself for a night of music, art and crafts.
The event will boast a classic prom photo booth, a design your own Valentine's card station and a immersive fairytale art exhibition.
The event will take place on Feb 14 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cacao Ceremony and Sound Bath
For those looking for a more spiritual Valentine’s Day experience, a cacao ceremony and sound bath at Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio could be the answer.
The two-hour event will involve a ritualistic cup of Guatemalan cacao followed by a chorus of crystal singing bowls.
The event will run from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Penticton
Citrus + Sage Co Candle Making Workshop
Penticton locals and visitors can put their creative skills to good use at Sociale on Lakeshore for a candle making workshop.
The event will be hosted by local Okanagan company Citrus + Sage Co.
Participants can choose from a variety of scents to create their perfect candle and enjoy a complementary glass of wine.
The event will take place on Feb 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sparkling wines of BC course
Also in Penticton, you can learn more about the different wines of the Okanagan region.
Participants will learn both about production methods and different varieties of grapes used for sparkling wine.
There will also be an opportunity to taste six varieties of wine, including a true French Champagne to taste the difference.
The event will take place at Okanagan College in Penticton on Feb 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
