77 new COVID-19 cases in Interior Health

There were 77 new COVID cases recorded in the Interior Health region in the last 24 hours.

There were 324 cases in the province as a whole, including 102 in Fraser Health, 60 in Northern Health, 36 on Vancouver Island and 38 in Vancouver Coastal, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health today, Nov. 23 Eleven cases were added for those living outside the country as a data correction.

There are now 3,047 active cases in the province with 345 people in hospital, 115 of whom are in intensive care.

There was one more death, in the Northern Health region, bringing the death toll to 2,304.

The vaccination rate in B.C. edged up to 90.9% for those over 12 years of age with at least one dose and 87.4% for those with two doses.
