A light earthquake was felt in the Fraser Valley this morning.
On Jan. 25, according to Earthquakes Canada, a 1.9 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Fraser Valley, roughly 15 kilometres northeast of Abbotsford.
The quake was felt at 9:22 a.m., and no injuries were reported, according to the government website.
The earthquake follows several other earthquakes detected around the B.C.
On Jan. 24, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of southern Vancouver Island Friday afternoon and was reportedly felt in downtown Vancouver.
Earthquakes Canada said the 4.5-magnitude quake struck 36 kilometres southwest of Bamfield just after 1:30 p.m.
