  • Outdoor watering restrictions remain in effect for City of Kelowna water customers

    KELOWNA - The City of Kelowna is reminding water utility customers that the odd/even watering restrictions are in place until the end of September.

    As the days become shorter and temperatures drop leading into the fall season, the City also encourages residents to reduce the watering time on their irrigation timers.

    KELOWNA - Well the numbers are in… A lucky Kelowna resident has taken the Grand Prize of a $6,000 WaterWise Yard Upgrade and the City of Armstrong is the new “Make Water Work Champion.” But in a summer of drought when it may have mattered most, perhaps the greatest win is the record number of Okanagan residents who pledged to Make Water Work this summer.
  • West Kelowna watering regulations reminder

    Spring is here and it’s a pleasure for local homeowners and gardeners to see the early blooms and the greening of their lawns, but residents are reminded that no outdoor watering is allowed between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. in West Kelowna.

    In West Kelowna, Stage 1 sprinkling regulations are in effect throughout the irrigation season, regardless if the season begins early or not.

  • Reminder of watering regulations

    With sunny weather finally on the way, West Kelowna residents are reminded that Stage 1 Sprinkling Regulations are in effect throughout the irrigation season. Stage 1 Sprinkling Regulations are as follows:

    Sprinkling is only permitted at residential, commercial, and other non-agricultural properties as follows:
    Even numbered addresses: Watering is only permitted on Even Calendar Days.
    Odd numbered addresses: Watering is only permitted on Odd Calendar Days.
  • Water Restrictions are in effect May 1st

    Kamloops, B.C. – As summer approaches, residents are reminded that water restrictions are in effect starting May 1st, through to August 31st. 

    Restrictions:
    ·         Even number addresses irrigate on even number days, odd on odd days (example: 1234 City Drive waters on July 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.
