Event Description
Please Join us in the NOHS Boardroom to watch this webinar on: "Using the Dual Process Model of Coping with Bereavement" This may support you in your personal journey of grief, or in your professional role by looking at grief through this lens. Pioneering researchers Dr. Maggie Stroebe and Dr. Henk Schut will elaborate on the development and building of the Dual Process Model of coping with bereavement (DPM), a foundational concept in understanding the grieving process. In conversation with moderator Dr. Kenneth Doka, Stroebe and Schut will critically assess the DPM in relationship to other grief models. The program will also discuss practical applications of the DPM for clinical practice and research. REACH (Resources, Education, and Advocacy to Champion Hospice-palliative care) is an innovative program designed to engage, inform, and educate the North Okanagan community with the goal of improving palliative, end-of-life, and bereavement care Every year, NOHS hostes a suite of webinars published by the Hospice Foundation of America.
