Twin Rivers Strengthfest 2024: Uniting Powerlifting and Strongman Competitions for a Spectacular Showcase of Strength
Competitors are set to take the stage June 15th and 16th in Kamloops for Twin Rivers Strengthfest, promising an electrifying display of powerlifting and strongman prowess. Athletes from across the region will converge upon the Sandman Center for two days of intense competition, camaraderie, and feats of strength that will leave spectators in awe.
Hosted by the Twin Rivers Strength Sports Association, this event aims to celebrate the raw power and athleticism of competitors in both powerlifting and strongman disciplines, from heavy deadlifts to awe-inspiring log pressing.
“It’s a unique opportunity to be able to come and watch both competitions running alongside each other, in such a spectacular venue.” said Jeremy Phelps, Director. “With both events being sanctioned competitions, through the BC Powerlifting Association and Strongman Corporation Canada respectively, athletes will have a chance to be able to earn spots at higher levels of competition too.”
The competitions will feature various weight classes and divisions, ensuring that athletes of all levels and ages have the opportunity to compete and showcase their skills. We are excited to welcome spectators too! Admission is by optional donation, with all proceeds are going to support local nonprofit organizations, and there will a special door prize draw. Spectators can expect a thrilling atmosphere filled with adrenaline-pumping moments and jaw-dropping displays of strength. At the end of the weekend, Kamloops Strongest Man and Woman will be crowned.
