KCR Community Resources ________________________________________ The federal government has announced an extension to the deadline for claiming charitable donations on tax returns through to February 29, 2025. This change ensures that you have even more time to make a meaningful difference for families in our community. Your support transforms lives. Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants provides services to help you find skilled employment in BC that uses the education and experience that you bring to Canada. ________________________________________ The Parenting Your Anxious Youth (PYAY) group is dedicated to supporting families and youth by helping them better understand anxiety and learn effective coping skills.
We will talk about:
• What anxiety is and how it works.
• How to better understand your youth’s experience.
• Skills to help you and your youth cope.
• Skills to communicate with your anxious youth.
• Skills to manage situations in which your youth’s anxiety impacts daily life.
PYAY is a FREE group suited for parents/caregivers of youth, aged 12 to16, experiencing anxiety.
Pre-registration is required.
