Event Description

Warm Up Rounds Friday Sept.6th 11:00am to 5:30pm Heights will be adjusted up and down throughout the day to accommodate everyone’s schedules. Please be sure to include the height you wish to warm up over, along with approximate times you wish to warm up on your entry form. We will try to arrange the schedule to accommodate everyone’s needs. Schedule will be posted no later than Monday Sept 2nd on Facebook and will be sent by email. Rounds will be limited to 2 minutes per round. The ring will close promptly at 5:30pm to allow the ring crew time to change the course for Saturday’s classes. Hunter Classes from Rails on the Ground to 3ft Saturday Sept.7th starting at 8:30am Hunter over Fences – Judges the horses movement and form over fences Equitation over Fences – Judges the riders position and ability over fences Hunter under Saddle – Judges the horses movement and way of going on the flat. For Poles on the Ground and Cross Poles, the under saddle portion will be judged at Walk and Trot only. For 2ft and above the Under Saddle portion will be judged at walk, trot and canter. Hunter Derby – A slightly longer and more technical track that may use more natural looking obstacles. Jumper Classes from Cross Rails to 1.0m (3ft3) Sunday Sept.8th starting at 8:30am Jumper 1 – Speed class, one round of competition against the clock. Faults not converted to time. Competitors with equal number of faults will be placed in accordance with the time taken to complete the course. No Jump Off. Jumper 2 – All clear rounds within the time allowed will qualify to complete an immediate jump off round. Jump off will be over a shortened course, and competitors with equal number of faults in the jump off will be placed in accordance with the time taken to complete the jump off course. Match the Clock: Riders with no faults are placed in accordance to whom is closest to the optimum posted time. Jumper Medal – Judges the riders position and ability both over fences and on the flat. Riders who successfully complete the over fences phase will proceed into a flat phase immediately following the final over fences round.
