The 39th Annual Santa Claus Parade, presented by Thompson Rivers University (TRU) returns Sunday November 17th, and Downtown Kamloops would like to invite you to join the biggest outdoor celebration of the year! This year we are doing things little differently by having a Parade at dusk. PARADE THEME: Power of Community ROUTE: Parade starts in Downtown Kamloops at 2nd Ave & St. Paul Street, runs down 2nd Avenue to Victoria Street and along Victoria Street ending at 6th Avenue. **Please note: There are NO spectators allowed in the 600 block of Victoria Street, Santa stops at 6th Ave and turns left** PARKING: Downtown Kamloops would like to encourage parade spectators to take public transit or carpool to the event. Downtown parkades (located on Seymour & Lansdowne Street) are free of charge on weekends.
