Adapted from the Charles Dickens’ by Peter Anderson
A spectacular interpretation of Charles Dickens’ wondrous classic, A Sleigh Ride Christmas Carol weaves storytelling, music and epic design into a magical adventure through the winter landscape. Experience a powerful story of transformation featuring large-scale puppets, and a music-filled, horse-drawn procession through the woods and fields of Caravan Farm Theatre.
Now in our 36th year, the Winter Sleigh Ride Show is a beloved Okanagan holiday tradition. Horse drawn sleighs transport artists and audience alike over field and forest from scene to scene, where ideas are lit like flames against the darkness. Join our cast, crew, teamsters and horses as we embark on a spectacular theatrical journey together.

My husband and I kept looking at each other and whispering..“how did we not know about this sooner.. this is SURREAL!”

Fires will be crackling, music will be playing, and our concession will be serving an array of locally produced seasonal treats such as our famous hot cider and Okanagan Spirits Pear Brandy. Climb aboard the sleighs and thrill to the beauty of a winter’s night out under the stars. After the performance, visit the magnificent horses in the Decagon.
