Event Description

The Penticton Peach Festival is thrilled to announce the Tim Hortons Country Night lineup, headlined by accomplished country artist Steven Lee Olsen, with the talented Lydia Sutherland as the opening act.
“We are thrilled to bring such incredible talent to the Penticton Peach Festival stage for Tim Hortons Country Night on Thursday, Aug. 8,” says Alysha Forrest, Entertainment Director of Peach Festival.
Steven Lee Olsen, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, has carved a remarkable path in the country music scene. From his spontaneous move to Nashville in the early 2000s to his extensive collaborations with industry giants like Keith Urban and Garth Brooks, Olsen has become a force to be reckoned with. With over 85 million global streams, Olsen’s chart-topping hits, including “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” have solidified his position as one of the most promising Country singer-songwriters of this generation.
Joining Olsen on stage is Lydia Sutherland, a Nashville based, Québec-born singer/songwriter who has already emerged as one of the most hotly sought-after songwriters and collaborators in the business. Sutherland has built a diverse songwriting catalog highlighted by “Hold Me Back” with Robyn Ottolini, “Mercy” with Kyle McKearney and many more. Building a backlog of nearly 900 songs, Lydia gained traction and signed a worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Nashville (UMPG). In 2022 Lydia secured a label deal with Universal Music Canada, kicking off the next chapter releasing fan faves “best friend,” “look like your exes,” “dressing room,” and now “girls at the bar.”
“Her ability to deliver hit songs makes her a perfect fit for Tim Hortons Country Night, promising festival-goers a dynamic and unforgettable opening act,” says Forrest.
