For the past 17 years, certified pet groomer Jessica Schmuck has been working with dogs and cats to bring out their features and keep them looking their best. Since 2019, Jessica has been the owner of Pawlished Pet Grooming in Penticton, BC. She takes pride in building long-term relationships with her customers in the south Okanagan—and a reputation for care, kindness, and compassion towards their four-legged friends.

Some dogs and cats find visiting a pet groomer challenging, but Jessica’s careful hiring practices ensure that her staff excel at dealing with animals of various sizes and temperaments. Pawlished Pet Grooming currently has six professional groomers on staff—all of whom have many years of experience working directly with dogs and cats in settings such as vet clinics and boarding kennels. Jessica and her staff have a great team approach, allowing them to create a friendly and welcoming environment for all pets.

Jessica was first introduced to pet grooming at a young age by a family friend. This early exposure to the craft fostered a passion for dogs and an interest in helping them look and feel great. Jessica also has a soft spot for elderly animals and has recently equipped her shop with a special hydraulic table that can be lowered for easy accessibility.

With individual care and attention, Jessica and her staff at Pawlished Pet Grooming offer a full range of pet grooming services, including shampoos, brush and blow-dry, ear cleaning and trimming, nail cutting, and teeth brushing.
