If you are considering a career that makes an impact with children, youth, and families, BGC Okanagan is actively seeking new employees across the Okanagan Valley.

“I absolutely adore my job,” says Chloe Eccles, who works with 5-to-12-year-olds in the After School Program at the Rutland Club in Kelowna, B.C.

Eccles is part of BGC Okanagan’s team of trained and dedicated staff and volunteers who create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for children, youth and families who walk through Club doors.

"It really is a wonderful organization. We provide so many different programs in the Okanagan. It's wonderful to get to know the children and their families,” says Eccles, who points out how fulfilling it is to witness the growth and development in the youth while they are active in the Club.

BGC Okanagan (part of BGC Canada, the largest non-profit agency for children and youth in the country), provides services for children, youth and families including preschool, daycare, after school programs, recreation, youth programs and family supports. The Okanagan Club has been active in the Okanagan Valley since 1959. Their mission is to help children and youth develop the confidence, skills, and knowledge they need to become successful adults. From Falkland to Osoyoos, their many locations always provide a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow in while having fun.

“If you have a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow, then a career with BGC Okanagan could be ideal for you. You can help shape young minds and positively impact their lives, while building a rewarding career,” says Bailey Van Os, BGC Okanagan Director of Human Resources.

With so many locations and programs across the Okanagan and Canada, there is plenty of room for growth and advancement. Some positions within BGC Okanagan offer opportunities for paid professional development, a childcare discount, leadership programs and a benefits package.
