River Stone Estate Winery in Oliver’s wine country is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of their carefully crafted rosé, white wines, and sparkling wines. Set to debut in mid-April, these new offerings capture the essence of spring in every bottle—light, refreshing, and bursting with vibrant flavours. Perfect for sunny afternoons, brunch or cocktail hour, their new spring release wines are crafted to elevate any occasion, promising an unforgettable experience that celebrates the renewal of spring.
Mix n' Match Minis: Terroir Treasures in Every Sip from River Stone Estate Winery
Another surprise for wine aficionados is their launch of new small format 200 ml bottles available in Sauvignon Blanc (2023 Gold Medal Winner, WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada), Splash (2023 Gold Medal Winner, WineAlign National Wine Awards), Sparkling Syrah Rosé, and Sparkling Cabernet Franc Rosé. This is their first vintage of Sparkling Syrah Rosé and Sparkling Cabernet Franc Rosé, so they are very excited to showcase these new blends. They are branding this collection as "Mix n' Match Minis: Terroir Treasures in Every Sip." Small format bottles make a great addition to your picnic or lunch on-the-go. There aren’t many wineries in the Valley producing small format bottles, which makes the announcement from River Stone even more exciting.

In addition, River Stone Estate Winery will be releasing the following wines this spring in standard size bottles: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Splash (a blend of Pinot Gris, Viognier, and Gewürztraminer), Gewürztraminer, Sparkling White Merlot, and the Corner Stone Rosé (new!). Visit their tasting room which opens on March 29th for the 2024 season.
Pinot Gris, a white grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera, originated from the vineyards of Burgundy, France, but has found a prestigious second home throughout the Okanagan Valley. This grape produces wine that varies greatly in taste depending on the terroir and winemaking practices. River Stone produces an off-dry version with flavours and aromas of apple, pear, melon, and stone fruit. The versatility of Pinot Gris makes it a popular choice among wine enthusiasts, suitable for a variety of dining occasions and pairing excellently with everything from fresh seafood to spicy Asian cuisine.
Enjoying Gewürztraminer from River Stone comes with the anticipation of its unique profile. Visit River Stone Estate Winery in Oliver BC to sample their new wines. Their tasting room will be open starting March 29, 2024 on Thursday to Monday from 11 am-5 pm. Starting April 30th, they will be open 7 days a week from 11-5. Their garden is the perfect place amidst the vines to enjoy a picnic lunch with the new mini-bottles.
