OLIVER - You have a unique opportunity to see how some ailing raptors are rehabilitated this Sunday.
The South Okanagan Raptor Rehab Centre north of Oliver is holding its 31st annual open house this weekend, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the facility located at 8965 Highway 97.
It’s the only day of the year the centre is open to the public.
The facility will have site tours, exhibits, a barbecue, silent auction and face painting for kids.
There will also be 22 local nature and wildlife exhibitors on hand.
It’s also Houdini the owl’s 19th birthday, with cake at 2 p.m.
Entry is by donation, all of which goes toward bird care.
The three musketeers were patients at the raptor rehab centre in 2017.
