PENTICTON - Young skaters with the Glengarry Skate Club in Penticton are making preparations for a really big show.

The skaters are practising hard for this year’s annual skate show, which is a presentation of the The Lion King.

Skate club spokesperson Tania Vassilakaki says the kids are working extremely hard to make it an awesome show, with amazing costumes and choreography.

Vassilakaki says the proceeds will go to the club.

“It would be awesome to get a great turnout to support our future possible Olympians,” she says.

The show takes place April 11 at 6:30 at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for kids under 12 and can be purchased by calling Trevor of the Glengarry Skate Club at 250-486-0244.
