You can help solve a string of West Kelowna mailbox thefts

WEST KELOWNA -  Police are searching for the thief or thieves who broke into several community mailboxes last month.

A Canada Post representative reported mail thefts on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 from the following community mailboxes: 

  • 4012 Gellatly Road
  • 4153 Gellatly Road
  • 4223 Gellatly Road
  • 2431 Whitworth Road
  • 4010 Angus Drive

According to Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers, the best way to avoid being a victim of mail fraud is to collect mail regularly and to always report suspicious activity to authorities.

If you know anything about this crime, or any other crime, you are asked to call the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimestoppers.net. Your information will be kept confidential and could lead to a reward of up to $2000.00.
