KELOWNA – All nine members of the hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan will be coming to Kelowna this summer for the annual beach sports and music festival.

Centre of Gravity announced their lineup today, April 10, which also includes ZeddFrench MontanaIlleniumAction BronsonJAUZ and more.

Wu-Tang Clan made their debut in the early 1990’s and are considered one of the most influential rap groups in history. Almost all members have successful solo careers, including RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. Founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard died in 2004.

They have released seven studio albums and had 16 hit singles, including C.R.E.A.M., Protect Ya Neck, Bring da Ruckus and Back in the Game.

Despite a difficult flood and fire season last year, sales for the annual event were higher than they’ve been in years, thanks to Snoop Dogg and an impressive music lineup.

This will be the 11th year Kelowna’s own Scott Emslie has brought the festival to Kelowna. In addition to non-stop live performances by some of the world’s biggest EDM stars, COG also features BMX, Skateboarding, beach volleyball, basketball, wakeboarding, freestyle motocross and more.

The festival will take place July 27 to July 29. Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 12 at 10 a.m.
