An impaired driver made it easy for police to spot his bad driving in West Kelowna early Saturday morning.

The 24-year-old man was caught driving the wrong way down the one-way Main Street at about 12:30 a.m. May 9, according to an RCMP media release.

Since he showed signs of alcohol consumption he was taken to the RCMP detachment where he provided two breath samples, both of which showed him to be at more than twice the legal limit, police said.

He also did not have a valid B.C. driver’s license and was in violation of a court order. His vehicle was impounded.

The B.C. Prosecution Services is reviewing the case and determining what charges should be laid, RCMP said.
