A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after being shot in Okanagan Falls Saturday night.
The Penticton RCMP responded to a report of shots being fired in the town, Aug. 6, at roughly 10 p.m., according to the Penticton RCMP in a news release.
The Okanagan Falls Fire Department also responded to the incident reported near Maple Street and 10 Avenue.
Police officers found one woman suffering from serious injuries and she was transported to the hospital.
A man was also found and was arrested. The two people involved knew each other and there is no further risk to the public, according to the RCMP.
