SUMMERLAND - A fire which broke out yesterday on the Princeton-Summerland Road is listed as contained this morning.
The fire, which was reported around 1:45 p.m., Sept. 1, was burning near the intersection of the Princeton-Summerland Road and McLennan Road.
B.C. Wildfire information officer Justine Hunse said yesterday, Sept. 1, air tankers were been deployed to the fire and two initial attack ground crews sent to assist Summerland Fire Department personnel.
This morning B.C Wildfire reports no additional resources have been requested from the wildfire service.
The fire is being held at .2 hectares.
