When temperatures drop and the snow begins to fall, some animals in B.C. adjust their coat to fit the season.

The snowshoe hare, also known as the varying hare, is one of the few mammals and birds in the province that change their coats when the seasons change.

For the snowshoe hare, it's all about staying camouflaged.
