With the recent bear sightings within the City of Kamloops, WildSafeBC is reminding B.C. residents to never approach the feeding animals.
WildSafeBC says bears are currently feeding voraciously as they fatten up before winter arrives and the denning period begins.
“Bears will attack to protect a food source so never approach a feeding bear and never approach a bear that isn’t feeding,” WildSafeBC says in their video. “In general, never approach a bear.”
