Wolves are normally elusive creatures that avoid contact with humans and in this week’s episode of Wild Wednesday, WildSafeBC shows us some amazing footage captured by trail cameras showing a mother wolf with its young pups.

Wolves account for approximately 400 calls to the Conservation Officer Service every year, according to WildSafeBC.

If you encounter a wolf showing signs of aggression in the wild, you can use bear spray as a deterrent. WildSafeBC also recommends being assertive by throwing rocks, yelling, making yourself appear large and threatening.
