Where to party into 2018 in the South Okanagan

There are a number of venues in various price ranges in which South Okanagan residents can bring in the New Year in a festive way this Sunday evening, Dec. 31, 2017.

PENTICTON - There's a wide range of venues available this Sunday evening from which South Okanagan residents can welcome the New Year in a festive way.

In Penticton, the Tiger Alley’s New Year Bootlegger’s Ball gets underway at 5 p.m. at the Craft Corner Kitchen.

The prohibition-inspired event runs until 4 a.m. with entertainment by Leila Neverland & the Old Town Blues ensemble, with performances by Coco Cabaret, Little Miss Moonshine, Boundless Bellydance and Lou Lou No Good.

Ticket prices are $50, $80 and $130. The evening includes a five-course meal and champagne at midnight.

Tickets are available at Tiger Alley and at the Craft Corner Kitchen.

New Year’s celebrations get underway at 6 p.m. at the Barley Mill with entertainment by the Yard Katz.

A limited number of 80 tickets are available for the event, at $30 or $70, which includes a three-course dinner.

New Year’s eve at the Cannery Brewing Co. includes a free concert by Justin Koshman, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31.

In Oliver, celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Vineyard.

The evening comes with a four course gourmet menu along with a complimentary glass of champagne.

Tickets are $65 plus GST, wine pairings $30 plus GST.

Reservations are required.

The Dream Cafe hosts a New Year’s Eve bash with Rann Berry’s Soul of Motown.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for a night of rhythm and blues, soul music and Motown hits.

Tickets are $65, entertainment and dinner is $100, with only 100 tickets available for this event

The Barking Parrot hosts New Year’s Eve Sunday, Dec. 31, with Trilojay performing at 9:30 p.m

A $10 cover charge gets you in the door for fireworks, a midnight toast, party favours and entertainment by DJ Systemh4ck.

In the SImilkameen, The Wild Organic Humans rock in the New Year with Lulu and the Lazy Boys at Cawston Hall on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 8 p.m to 1 a.m.

Tickets are $20 at the door, $15 before Dec. 31 at the Cawston Store or Emmy’s Bake Shop in Keremeos.
