If passengers book a domestic flight between now and Aug. 10 with WestJet, they may save a few bucks.
WestJet has is offering discounts on select flights to all 39 of its Canadian destinations for dates between Aug. 5 to Dec. 16, according to the airline's website.
“Sale prices are often based on demand with limited seats available at certain prices, it may just be that have been purchased or the flight was already booked prior to the sale being announced,” said Morgan Bell, media relations officer with WestJet, via email.
A one-way flight from Kelowna to Vancouver is currently listed at $112 on select dates. Non-discounted days are posted at $148. From Penticton to Vancouver, discounted days are listed for $129 one-way, while non-discounted dates reached as high as $237 for one-way in August.
Discounts may only be available for select periods during the booking window and are subject to change. The advised fares are also based on non-stop flights unless otherwise specified. The discounted fares are also non-refundable and advanced purchase is required, WestJet said.
