West Kelowna police interrupt daylight robbery

WEST KELOWNA - RCMP say they interrupted a brazen daylight theft in West Kelowna yesterday afternoon.

Police responded around 3:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3 to reports of a break and enter in progress at a business in the 3700 block of Elliott Road.

During a search of the property, police say they discovered a man inside the perimeter fence of the business, Kelowna RCMP media officer Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press release.

Police allege an unidentifed 47-year-old West Kelowna man fled when confronted but was arrested without incident a short distance away.
