Weekend weather in Kamloops starts grey and finishes sunny

KAMLOOPS - April showers look to be behind us heading into the last weekend of the month in Kamloops.

It's going to be mainly cloudy today, April 27, with a 40 per cent chance of showers, the wind west at 20 km/h and a high of 16 Celsius, according to the Environment Canada forecast. Partly cloudy overnight with the temperature falling to 7 C.

Tomorrow things will brighten up a bit with a mix of sun and cloud, a brisk westerly wind and high of 18 C. Clearing overnight with the temperature plummeting 14 degrees to 4 C.

The forecast calls for a cloudy day on Saturday with a high of 15 C. Expect cloudy periods overnight with a low of 3 C. 

Sunday may be the day to go out and play, with sunshine and a high of 16 C.

The sunshine continues early next week with a high of 23 C predicted for Wednesday.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs around 19 C and lows of about 5 C.
