Weekend events include Robbie Burns night in Penticton

The Four Food Chiefs wine pairing event is taking place Saturday and Sunday at Nk'Mip Cellars in Osoyoos.

PENTICTON - Enjoy some stand up comedy, take in a wine pairing course, celebrate your Scottish heritage or go see the Vees this weekend in the South Okanagan.

The Penticton Eagles host their Club Dinner Dance today, Jan. 18 from 7 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. at the Penticton Eagles Hall at 1197 Main St. Come out for a night of good food, live music, dancing and fun, all at no cost.

The Penticton Vees face off against the Prince George Spruce Kings at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $14. For more information check out the Vees' website here.

The Four Food Chiefs wine pairing event takes place again this weekend at Nk’Mip Cellars, 1400 Rancher Creek Rd. in Osoyoos. The food pairing event will be held Saturday, Jan. 19 and Sunday, Jan. 20, at noon at a cost of $15.

The Penticton Scottish Festival presents a Robbie Burns Supper on Saturday, Jan. 19 starting at 4:30 p.m. with a traditional roast beef buffet, haggis and an evening of Celtic entertainment. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at McPhail Kilt Makers in Penticton at the Cannery Trade Centre.

The Craft Corner Kitchen presents some Stand up Comedy with "Comedy on the Verge" on Saturday, Jan. 19, starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $15.
