PENTICTON - Celebrating the Christmas season is the theme this weekend in the South Okanagan.
Summerland Art Council’s outdoor art installation continues until Dec. 24, from 5 p.m to 10 p.m. with giant illuminated presents inside and outside. The indoor installation is open Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Christmas Eve celebrations at Apex Mountain Resort will include the annual torchlight parade, fireworks, Santa Claus and a bonfire. Those wishing to participate in the torchlight parade are asked to sign up at the office, participant under age 19 must have a signature from a guardian. The fun gets underway from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For more information, see the Apex Mountain Resort website.
Christmas dinner will be served in the Grand Ballroom of the Penticton Lakeside Resort on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, at a cost of $40 per person. Dinner gets underway at 4 p.m ends at 6:30 p.m.
