WEST KELOWNA - If you're in West Kelowna, check the water before you drink it.

After consulting with Interior Health, the City of West Kelowna has issued a water quality advisory for the West Kelowna Estates system, north of Highway 97. Increased turbidity at the Okanagan Lake intake is the cause of the advisory.

During a water quality advisory, children, the eldery, and people with weakened immune systems should boil water before consuming it.
