VERNON - Some City of Vernon customers are without water, thanks to a water main failure today.

Homes between the 4900 to 5100 blocks of Heritage Drive do not have water, according to a City of Vernon media release. The city doesn't say how many water customers are without water.

Crews are on site and the city estimates the repair will be complete by 3 p.m., Dec. 5, the release says.

Be aware, traffic is getting rerouted while the road is closed during construction. The city advises motorists to avoid the route, if possible.
