VERNON - Swimmers and boaters are being warned of a hazard in Okanagan Lake.
An offshore storm main has surfaced in Okanagan Lake near the 8800-block of Tronson Road, the City of Vernon states in a release.
City crews will be marking the location of the main for safety purposes, and remedial action will be taken as soon as possible.
Swimmers and boaters are urged to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
