Warrants issued for Shuswap man facing charge of assaulting police officer

Police are asking the public for assistance in locating a Shuswap man wanted on numerous warrants.

Kevin Dennis Friesen, 30, is wanted on 11 unendorsed warrants issued from the Sicamous, Salmon Arm and North Okanagan areas, according to an RCMP media release.

Friesen is described as a Caucasian male, 5'10" tall, 180 lbs., with a medium build and brown hair.

He does not have a fixed address. His present whereabouts are unknown to police. 

Friesen’s unendorsed warrants include charges of assaulting a police officer, flight from police, dangerous driving, driving while impaired, breach and theft under $5,000.

Anyone with any information on the current whereabouts of Kevin Friesen is asked to contact their local police, Salmon Arm RCMP, or remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
