The charges were approved in December 2021 in relation to incidents that took place last August.
Lindsay has been holding anti-mask and anti-COVID restriction rallies since the early days of the pandemic.
He has long been a member of the Freeman-on-the-Land movement and has spent time behind bars for refusing to pay taxes.

Over the years, Lindsay has made false claims that people don't need driving licences to drive cars and that paying tax is optional.
He's also said 5G lowers the immune system making people more susceptible to COVID-19, argued that provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry should be jailed, and the pandemic isn't real.
