Warmer and sunnier as the week progresses in Kamloops and the Okanagan

While there’s a chance of a bit of precipitation in the next couple of days in Kamloops and the Okanagan, the skies should not only clear but warm up significantly in the days ahead.

Kamloops is forecast to reach 11 Celsius today, March 11 and 12 C tomorrow with a 30% chance of showers overnight tonight. The temperature reached 13.9 C yesterday.

Wednesday is forecast by Environment Canada to cool to a high of 9 C before it gradually climbs to 20 C by next weekend in sunshine.

Overnight lowers are expected to drop to -1 C for Wednesday morning but to be in the 4-6 C range for most of the week.

The normal high temperature for today in Kamloops is 10 C with a low of -1 C.

There’s a greater chance of precipitation in the Okanagan with 40% chance of wet flurries today, rising to a 60% chance of showers tonight and 30% tomorrow.

High temperatures are expected to reach 9 C in the Okanagan today, drop to 6 C on Wednesday then rise to 17 C by the weekend in sunshine.

Overnight lows range from -1 C Wednesday morning to 3 C most other nights.

Kelowna reached a high of 10.8 C Sunday, Vernon was 10 C. Penticton’s temperatures on Sunday are missing from the Environment Canada website.
