Virtual election forum tonight for North-Okanagan Shuswap

An online forum is happening tonight for North Okanagan-Shuswap federal election candidates.

Hosted by the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce, the forum is set for 7p.m. today, Sept. 13, virtually through Zoom.

Residents in the Shuswap can also tune in by listening to 93.7 FM, the community radio station, to listen to the forum live.

The Zoom meeting link can be found here and the Zoom Meeting ID is 895 1692 2691.

The chamber asks residents to keep their video off and the microphone muted for the duration of the forum.

The meeting will be recorded and shared through the chamber the following day.

North Okanagan-Shuswap candidates include: Shelley Desautels for the Liberal Party, incumbent Mel Arnold for the Conservative Party, Ron Johnston for the NDP, Andrea Gunner for the Green Party and Kyle Delfing for the People’s Party of Canada.

The federal election is Sept. 20.
