KAMLOOPS – Mountain biking, Sun Peaks living and the local arts scene get the spotlight in this video featuring stunning aerials and chats with locals.
Outdoor recreation is a focus of the film and Olympic mountain biker Catharine Pendrel explains all the reasons why she’s proud to call Kamloops home. Not surprisingly, Pendrel spends most of her time talking about the vast mountain bike trails that twist and turn in the area.
The film, produced by Telus Optik Local, shows how Sun Peaks Mountain Resort is a community and more than just a ski hill. Residents started and continue to run their own school at the resort.
Finally, viewers get a front seat and see how an outreach program is encouraging locals to use art as therapy with the Kamloops Arts Council.
