KELOWNA – An airplane has been hung several stories above an atrium at the Okanagan College campus in Kelowna.

KF Aerospace paid to have the silver Cessna 172 suspended in the new trades building at Okanagan College and a time lapse camera caught the whole process.

The short video shows crews using two massive scissor lifts to first position the body of the donated plane before reattaching wings, landing gear and propeller.

The new trades training complex is part of a $33-million renovation and expansion and was completed earlier this year.
